How difficult are your walks?
Our walks range from easy to medium hard. Sometimes we may do a walk of less than 5 km or 2 hours and combine it with another activity such as a visit to a cultural atraction or a meal. The maximum length would be about 18km but we are a leisure walking group, we don’t do walks with high technical difficulty and we do them at an easy pace.
I only speak English / Spanish can I join?
Of course, guides speak both languages and in fact one of the things that many people enjoy about our walks is the chance to learn and practice another language.
How big are the groups?
Maximum 12 people both for safety and an more personal atmosphere.
Where do you depart from?
Normally from the parking in Avenida Aragon in in front of The Mestalla Stadium, the entrance with the large orange bat. Valencia
Do I have to prepay the walk?
Yes, however on day trips if you cancel with more than 48 hours notice you recieve a 90% refund or someone else can take your place. With weekend trips you pay a deposit to secure your place which is transferable to another trip but non refundable. The balance of weekend trips is due 14 days before departure.
How does transport work?
We have our own 9 seat air conditioned minibus. on some trips you can travel in your own car and meet us at the start of the walk for a reduced cost. We will never transport you in another group members private car. That would be irresponsable as we do not know if the person is a safe driver or if the vehicle is properly maintained or insured.
Do you only do walking trips?
Our focus is on walking trips but somethimes we also do cycles, kayak trips, and often we combine a shorter walk with a visit to a cultural atraction, a meal or even wine or food tasting.
How does membership Work?
Membership costs 30 euros a year. You receive a 20% discount on most day trips, we send a news letter giving advance notice of upcoming trips, and we also organise crtaind midweek events and dinners which are just for members.
