Discover Breathtaking Views on the Pico de Ave Hike

If you’re craving an adventure that combines natural beauty and a touch of the dramatic, this is the walk for you! I’ll admit it—one of the reasons I love this hike is that it reminds me of the Scottish Highlands (on a clear day!). From the treeless summit of Pico de Ave, you’ll enjoy unparalleled panoramic views—arguably the most expansive in the entire Valencian Community. Picture gazing out over Cortes de Pallás, Los Cañones del Júcar, and beyond—it’s absolutely spectacular.

Our journey begins in the charming village of Dos Aguas, just an hour from Valencia. This 9km round-trip hike features a 650-meter ascent. Most of the trail is well-maintained, and the incline is steady, making it accessible for most walkers. The final 15 minutes to the summit, however, offer a bit of excitement as the terrain becomes rocky and adventurous.

But here’s the best part: if you’re not feeling up to tackling the summit, no problem! You can pause just below, enjoy a relaxing lunch, and still soak in stunning views.

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just looking for a memorable day out in nature, this walk is a must-do. Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic of Pico de Ave—book your spot now and let’s make some unforgettable memories!

BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH. Wear shoes suitable for walking and carry 1 litres of water. Wear layers of clothing because it will be cold in the morning and evening but hot in the middlle of the day.

Discover the Breathtaking Monduver: A Top Hiking Adventure

Monduver, the iconic mountain crowned with antennas at its peak, is a must-see landmark easily visible from the AP7 autopista near Gandia. Recognized by Valencia Bonita as one of the top 10 hiking routes in the Valencian Community, this adventure offers spectacular views and unique natural features.

Standing tall at 841 meters—nearly 100 meters higher than the famous Montgó—Monduver boasts panoramic vistas that will leave you in awe. Our 9 km circular hike is the best way to experience this stunning mountain. It combines ease, excitement, and diverse scenery, including the remarkable Forat de la Drova Cave, a true highlight of the trail.

The adventure begins with an ascent to the cave, a fascinating natural feature and a perfect photo opportunity. From there, we traverse the ridge above the cave, leading to the summit with its iconic antennas—the highest point in the area. The views from the top are simply unparalleled.

On the return leg, we take a different route that meanders through a picturesque landscape of alpine trees, offering a serene contrast to the rocky ridge above. The total ascent is 450 meters, and while most of the trail is well-maintained, there’s a short rocky section along the ridge that adds a touch of adventure.
